AC Adapter- would this Brando unit work w/ ipod?

For travel, I saw this neat AC adapter that would charge 5 usb devices. I would like to use this with my 2gen ipod touch and my vado 3gen.

Will this work? I figure if one can charge these devices on their computer, the adapter ought to work.
