Hey all,
I was just thinking, don't you think if you play a lot of accelerometer based games it will put a lot of wear on your accelerometer after a while? Don't you think it will break faster? Sorry if there was already a thread on this. Cheers

The accelerometer is always spinning with motion. Only difference is whether the OS is recording it's measurements or not.

Throwing my iPhone after falling off a Monkey Ball level for the 10th time in a row is likely to do more damage than just using the accelerometer.

I was waiting in line today at AT&T to return the crappy case I bought on launch day and while playing SMB I had to catch myself because I almost threw the iPhone. I had already thrown my 360 controller several times earlier that day, so I was kinda pissed off with video games at the moment.
