I know there are many threads on how many dead/stuck pixels are needed before Apple will replace, etc. with some saying there is no firm policy, it all depends on who you talk to.

Curious as to what people's personal feelings are. Would you accept one, two, three or more dead/stuck pixels, or maybe just none? I know Apple may or may not help you for fewer than 4 or 6 or whatever that number is. Just wanted to know if there is a number you can live with etc or if you think you shouldn't have to.

Also, has anyone notice on the new 24" backlight bleeding from the bottom, either on both sides or just one - using a dark or black desktop, or when watching a widescreen letterboxed movie. Like a white light emanating from the bottom along about 6 inches or so from the corner in.

asking if a dead pixel is acceptable is like asking if dating someone with herpes is acceptable. A lot of people have it, but damn if that ever makes it acceptable.

in short dead pixels are computer herpes.

I must admit that I am dating a 20" herpes monster! Really though I just have one dean pixel and it is VERY hard to find in any normal situation... Now if I had a 2-3 and they were in the middle of the screen, then I would have a problem and FIGHT for a new one!

What about stuck. I have 2 red and one white "hot". Any suggestions to try to fix them. With the new glass on the iMac I certainly can't massage or tap them out right?
