Anyone have an idea what access control system Apple is using to make their way down to the secret chip lab? Screen Shot 2020-10-13 at 1.38.11 PM.png

I believe they have their own system but some Universities' access control systems (Blackboard and CBORD CS Gold), allow for apple wallet for their ID card.
Example (with Blackboard):

Are you sure this relates to Blackboard? My uni, the Danish university “Aarhus University” also uses Blackboard, but I’m pretty sure we won’t be able to do this

Looks like Blackboard sold off their access control unit: https://news.elearninginside.com/bl...leaving-blackboard-mobile-credentials-behind/

But yeah U of Alabama used Blackboard Transact. I'm not sure what it's called now.

Right that makes sense. Maybe just me, but the general Blackboard app is pretty bad... Also dislike the website, but less so. In any case, yeah cheers - Cool to those able to use their iPhones for unlocks anyway. I use my Apple Watch to pay for things with Apple Pay a lot and it’s so convenient to always have it on my wrist
