The problem with the IPhone that I've come across is with the file system. What should be an easy access, just like Windows Mobile, again with Apple OS, we have to find a tricky way to do stuff that otherwise you can do on a PC based OS.

All I want to do is access the file system EASILY. Why should I have to use SSH or FTP. Furthermore, If I need to hold important docs for work, or even just medical information, how the hell am I gonna SSH or FTP if I have no connection or means. I'm sorry but that's ridiculous, it requires a connected state at all times to get to your files.

I should be able to access my own file system freely and easily out of the box with some kind of file system explorer to the "safe" part of the hard disk.

This is a huge limitation. Anyone have a solution or free app to pop some sort of "file explorer" in this thing?

What's the use of all this disk space, if we can only use it for mp3s, movies, and pictures. Makes no practical sense to me when you buy that much hard disk space just waiting to be 100% useful.
