Access files on M1 Mac mini from MBP

Is there a way to access files that reside on my M1mac mini FROM (wirelessly) my MacBook Pro?
MBP is a 2015 with Mojave
M1 Mac Mini is Big Sur.
Not talking about Handoff. Trying to pull up files and maybe even save back to the Mac mini

Use the Sharing option in Settings and define the user account you want to give access on the M1 Mac.

I use this to share a Downloads folder across multiple machines, both Intel and Appel Silicon....
