Hi all,

I was wondering whether it is possibly to access my iMac remotely, using my iPhone? This would only to be access files on the iMac, not to actually control it and provide commands.

Thank you!

You can use an App like Remote File Manager for the iPhone. To get access to your iMac when you are away from your home you'll want to setup a VPN.

There's a number of solutions, both free, and paid.
Logmein, Gotomypc, teamviewer, and VPN.

TeamViewer I believe is the only one that is free, besides VPN, but I've always had issues with VPN
