iOS Access iPhone Data, Cellular usage

How do I go about accessing the data usage and cellular usage when programming for the iPhone? Is there an API or even an array I can use to call up the values?

Also, is there a way to figure out what the user has used in terms of minutes and data within a certain period of time?

Google has turned up nothing. Thanks for your help.
