Hi all,

I really prefer using the iBooks/iTunes ecosystem for digital books. The books I need however are only available on Kindle. I've used Calibre to convert different ebook formats and just need to get my hands on the actual Kindle ebook file that's on my iPad.

Does anyone have any idea of how to get the Kindle file on my Mac without jailbreaking my iPad? Even to just download it straight from Amazon?

Thanks.

Download the Kindle App for Mac. It will then Whispersync. . .

Install the Kindle app for the Mac. Login and download the book. It's simple.

As others stated, amazon (unlike apple) offers a desktop application to read kindle books. Just get that, sync it up and you're off like a herd of turtles.
