Accessing Mac files from Windows 7 in Bootcamp

I was wondering whether there is actually a way to access your mac files from the OSX partition through bootcamp. I remember being able to do this in the past but after installing Windows 7 and doing all the necessary procedures, I can't find a way to bridge that gap.

I'm in a similar position, but want to access files that are on a mac machine on the same network. I have all my media files stored on my mac and want to mount this drive onto the windows 7 machine.

I have an xp machine and can mount the mac drive to that, I can mount a drive from xp to windows 7, and vice versa. But when I try and mount the mac drive to windoes 7 I get "error 50", after doing the diagnostics. I can even mount from windows 7 to the mac !

I can ftp to the mac from windows 7, and obviously ping it, but it does not want to mount a drive in the usual way, i.e. specifying the mount point as \\192.168.0.10\drive_name.

Does anyone have any ideas ? Thanks

or there is a google program somewhere called 3somethingsomething.. sorry i cant completely remember the name, somebody else will hopefully!

I've tried Macdrive but unfortunately it does not support Windows 7.

Format an external USB drive using Fat32, you can do it with Swissknife from the PC side to be sure it mounts there. Only drawback is max file size is 4Gb, so it need to use HJsplit if you transfer mega files.
