accessing your repair "notes"

is there any way to access the notes that apple writes about your repair history and such for your laptop?
i mean, they shouldn't be able to keep them confidential, should they?
it all runs on their server or program or something like that, so i would assume there'd be a way to see them from anywhere. just a matter of knowing how.

You're asking this about a company that is overly zealous about keeping things secret.

There's no laws or regulations that dictate that apple has to release that information. If you ask them they may provide the data, but given apple's big brother slant, I'd say you'll not be too successful.

secretive about the notes they write about what has happened in your case?
it's not as if it's affecting them to any kind of public, this is not something that they have really created.
i already know what has happened, since i was there for it to happen to.
i just think it would be interesting to see what they wrote about me and my case.

Apple is obsessively secret, so yeah I could see them saying no.

Will they? I dunno, the only way to find out is ask for the notes. We can debate the merits of transparency to we're blue in the face but the proof will be in the pudding.

Sometimes they'll replace your computer or take a specific action that IS based on confidential information.

What I mean is, Apple may be aware of an issue with whatever product and haven't publicly acknowledged it or the cause. However, they'll tell AppleCare reps/Geniuses to capture the case and either just replace the unit or perform a specific fix.

It seems dumb, I know, but the steps they take may be based on internal, confidential info. So I believe that is the reason.
