I closed the lid while moving some stuff around on my desk during files transfer from one external drive to a new one (I know better than this but wasn’t thinking straight 🙃)

The drives went to sleep. When I turned the Mac back on, it’s seems like the transfer picked up where it left off within the copy log.

Maybe I’m already answering my own question in the question, but could this have any affect on the data transfer like errors or files being corrupted on the source or destination?

Did the files transfer over ok?
Can you open them, use them...?

If so... I wouldn't worry about it.
