Hi
I had a Lion partition and a Mountain Lion GM partition. (this was before ML was officially announced) I accidentally deleted the Lion partition and now I want Lion back. So I am currently stuck on the Mountain Lion GM. Any ideas on how I could get Lion back????

P.S. Lion came pre-installed on my MBP so I don't have Lion in the 'Purchased' section of the Mac App Store.

Thanks

Hi, you could try recovery first: press command-R when rebooting. It might install Lion or Mountain Lion when you do that, just try. Next coming to my mind is to delete the Mountain Lion partition as well and wipe the whole hard drive. Pressing command-R at the next boot will start Internet Recovery. It will download Mac OS X for you and I assume it will download the version that came with your mac when you bought it. You first want to check if your model supports Internet Recovery!
