iPhone 15 Pro Max Accidentally tapped the Apple financing vs Applecard financing

5AM in the west coast, furiously trying to order a new iphone, tapped the apple icon, confused why they asked me for my SSN, did it anyway, then realized there's actually two different financing.

couldn't cancel the order because all the staff was busy and you can't cancel order online for a few hours. Credit check hit. Lesson learned.

I definitely made the mistake, but I wish apple differentiated the two options more. Like if apple financing is through capital one, maybe don't put an apple logo on it.

I think it was clear to differentiate the financing options. I think you should’ve reviewed it beforehand just to go through the motion before the preorder or even saved it. Then you just need to go reload it and check out. Mistakes happen when you’re frantically trying to place the order quickly before delivery date slips further.

actually one problem was my preorder saves didn't work when the store came online so i had to frantically place a new order...
