I accidently renamed my home folder and I'm getting strange errors here and there, how do I get back to my original home folder name and set everything back to the way it was?

ok i've been trying to fix this problem - I found under my 'users' folder , a folder with the 'original name' of my homefolder with 'desktop' (empty) and 'library'.

Is this as easy as opening up two finder windoes and dragging the contents from the 'orginal name LIBRARY' to the 'new name LIBRARY'?

I have no idea if thats how you fix it

I just read a thread this week where someone did the same thing, there is a way to fix it. I just don't remember.

If I come across it I'll post.

just rename

I did the same thing, don't worry. Just change the home folder to its original name and everything will be fine.
