My wife and I are both getting iPhone 5's. In the house, we use my apple account to do all of our music and the like, should we or can we put both phones on the same apple account (and I guess connect them through just one iTunes)? Would this stop us from having to buy an app twice and allow the bought music to be used through both devices? I don't know if apple allows this or if it breaks any rules...

Also, on my current android, I have it's calendar syncing with my google calendar which in turn syncs with my Mac's iCal program. Once I get on the iPhone will this still be the best way to keep my phone calendar, my online calendar and my iCal all together? I am kind of concerned that the iPhone will insist to talk to iCal and everything get out of wack...

Thanks!

I would recommend using the same account for app and music purchases. But have separate iCloud accounts.

For your described usage, yes I would keep everything under one AppleID account. Apple allows you to share apps and music on devices you own.

You can continue to use Google Calendar to share calendars and just add the Google account to iCal if you prefer that setup.
