My new 17 inch MBP is supposed to ship to me on the 9th. Then it says delivery on the 17th. I have ordered from apple before and it only takes them 1 day to get to me because i live in MD and it ships from PA. Are these shipping from a different warehouse or something. I am hoping that as in the past, if it ships on the 9th, ill have it by the 10th. An one have any thoughts?

If its BTO, its definately coming from Shanghai. Usually takes 7 days to get to Tennessee (I'm in TN) from there, so I'd say its about the same for MD; it'll come through Indianapolis or Memphis, then to your area.
Only took 2 days to get to me, I live in the Atlanta area.

I think it all depends on how long it is on the ground. Mine went about 20 miles from the airport to my house. So it you live close to a big airport you are more likely to get it quicker.

Yea I live about 25 miles from BWI airport, which is Baltimore-Washinton airport. I hope it only takes a few days.
