Acid equivalent

Is there a program similar to Acid for creating loops for Mac, preferably OSX native?

I haven't used Acid, but Reason (Propellerhead Software - www.propellerheads.se) owns. Very powerful & very fun, but I don't exactly know what you're looking for. Propellerhead makes other programs, too, which you might check out.
