Be aware that Acronis (a remote backup service) will need some time before it can back up Apple Silicon computers. Acronis has been a very easy-to-use backup service that stores all your backups in its data centers, which comes in handy if your house and your devices go up i smoke. I'd appreciate any suggestions for alternate back up services that I could use until Acronis can handle M1 chipped computers.

@Cartaphilus Acronis is working on implementing support for devices with Apple M1 chip. This is a complex project involving several RnD departments, and there is a top focus on delivering support for the new ARM64 architecture within the nearest Acronis True Image 2021 update. You can track the news on newly released updates at https://www.acronis.com/support/updates/ or also check our official KB article on this matter: https://kb.acronis.com/content/67868 - it will be updated once the M1 chip is fully supported.
