I have my gfs old s4. Loving it and thinking of upgrading.

But:

How actionable are the biometrics that are captured by the AW & the resulting insights for the day to day?

(I don’t need to use cycle tracking & I’m in the uk, I’m lucky to have access to the blood oxygen app).

Yes I know the afib function is incredible - as are the other potentially life saving features.

I guess it’ll be useful to know that I’m likely getting sick… but as I’m not an athlete or seriously training for anything, does it matter? I’m going to get sick.

I love even the s4 so I’m not here to scorn the AW

I’m just curious to know what day to day health benefits I’ll get from an upgrade.

Thanks in advance.

It depends - if it finds some issue you had no idea about and helps you focus on that aspect of your health, useful. If not, then not. If you're in good health anyway and it's not going to find anything and you're not interested in looking at the trends or anything, then you won't find it useful.

There's no way that a stranger on the Internet= can tell you whether you'll find it useful.

If you feel that your health is decent enough and you're not a trend watcher, then I would not upgrade if everything else is working fine. But I would certainly upgrade from the S4 for other reasons in addition to the health benefits.

S4 is so long ago, I couldn't remember which features it had, but looking at this comparison, I'm a bit surprised at how many features it does have.

Thanks for your time. Actually it would be useful to find out days before so I could double up on vitamin c, take it easy etc.

Thanks. Yeah I was surprised that it had the ecg.

The battery charge capability is at 70 percent so it can barely make it through the day.

And it’s not worth getting a battery replacement for something that is worth less than the replacement costs!

I don’t mind the form factor and the larger bezel doesn’t bother me so was toying with getting a se.

But now I'm starting to think that the vitals temperature check is useful, so a series 8 and up it likely is.
