My wife and I are about to get iPhones and we are switching from another carrier ... has anybody been through this process of getting onto a family plan with 2+ phones?

Thanks..

Should be no prob. You setup one as the primary and add from there.

Thanks.. That's kind of what I thought... in addition.. do we need to tell our current carrier anything, or are we just suddenly not on their network anymore?

Well you will need to cancel your accounts there. But if you port the numbers over, that should happen automatically. If you get new numbers, then you will have to cancel the old services.

Even if you port, it may be a good idea to call the prior provider and make sure that they were cancelled.

Two iphones / Same plan / 2 different Macs?

My wife and I just ordered our two iPhones. Our Verizon contract expires tomorrow, so we figured it was time.

When I am setting the phones up, I am doing a family plan so I know I have to activate both phones on one computer, but then will she be able to connect her iPhone to her Mac Book and sync it with her music / contacts / photos?

The computer you activate on does not have to be the only one that the phone syncs with does it?
