ok got my phone today...


havce just got home, popped my sim in..get the "connect to itunes" message on screen..it is detected by itunes... but get this error shown on the screen ?

any ideas?

my internet connection is absolutely fine:(

I think it's just Apple's servers/iTunes servers which are getting absolutely hammered at the moment... Hopefully will be available soon! :)

I'm getting the EXACT same thing in the US doing a 2.0 upgrade through iTunes. My phone upgrade is complete and restored to factory settings, now it won't connect to Activate/Reactivate and restore. dead phone until it works.

I receive the same error in the screenshot.

arggh im really impatient!! thing thats p*ssin me off the most is that i have had it since 8 this monring and its still an ibrick! anyone got any further than tyhis?

i have noticed the itunes download link is also down

can someone please confim,r what i should bne seeing? is it a case of clicking through a few 02 screens in order to activate? the phone is still just on the itunes log screen with no signal

I've got this too, I'm guessing something at O2 exploded.... again.

I'm gonna stick my iPhone (3G!! :D) on the charger for the time being. Maybe try activation again in an hour.

anyone else got the following message on the phone now? Activation alert - No signal detected. Signal is required to complete activation?
