Hi! I bought iphone 6 factory unlocked,it was few weeks old,i was able to put my sim and activate it without any problems,i can also sign in into my icloud account and apple id and password,BUT when i go to icloud.com and enter my imei or serial it is showing activation ON,so my question is OK i can use it and i have full vontrol over device but whats gonna happen if i want to reset or restore device??? Why activation lock is on and i didnt have problems with activating very strange, there is a note before puting serial to check activation that maybe is device need to be removed from previous owner account, what scare me the most is,if one day i need to reset the phone maybe message will pop up and ask to to sign in into icloud account not apple id account which is from the previous owner

It's locked to you at the moment, so the lock will show ON. If you were to prepare it to be sold, the IMEI would show OFF and ready to be activated by another user.

Im not quite understand what are you trying to tell me excatly,im signed right not into my icloud and i can enable/disable find my iphone,so my question is since before i activate iphone 6 with my sim card and realize before that on apple site that activation lock is on,when i reset or restore iphone once in a while you think i will mot have problems with activating in the future?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but here's what I understand from your first post.

You checked your IMEI at the iCloud Activation site. It says the activation lock is ON. Yes it is, because it's locked to you at the moment.

If you prepare the phone in the future to sell, it will show OFF and ready for the next person to activate.

You shouldn't have any issues restoring your phone in iTunes, as long as you confirm turning off Find My iPhone with your iCloud user/pass before the restore.

No you didnt quite understand me :)
Before i insert my sim and activate iphone i checked lock status and it was ON,i wasnt familiar with activation lock thing at all! I google it in a hurry and i realize that with activation message ON i might not be able to use it! so i scared and since im still using iphone 5s i momentarily take out my sim from 5c and insert in iphone 6 to check if everything is ok,and i pass all steps in activating (i skip all the log in and sign in steps apple id,icloud account, location i skiped EVERTHING) then i checked activationlock status again, and it was same ON! So just now i log im into my icloud account and disable find my iphone and check again status and now its off, very very strange how i did pass activating iphone with activationlock ON did i have lucky?
