Please tell us you activation stories next Friday-

Especially the ones that are come from a iPhone that has physical to new ESIM only phones

Just tell us how it went and if was easy and the physical sim transfer over to a esim automatically or did you have to do some other things
 
I had no issue last year. I traded my 12 PM for the 13 PM and the phone was working right away with the esim. I threw away my sim card.

QUESTION -> are people with physical SIM's going to convert NOW - pre-iPhone 14 - just to be on eSIM?
Or is this a waste of effort, since you have to do it again next week anyhow?
Glad we're back to the old CDMA built-in codes again... not.
 
I'm in the same boat. I have 2 prepaid att phones and ive heard horror stories about this. The person on the phone says it has to be done in store, and the incompetent store staff has no idea what i'm talking about and keep assuring me that when i get my new phone everything will transfer over fine.

I feel like when i get these new phones it's going to be a nightmare. I'd really like to get on Esim now, and take my chances moving esim to esim instead of physical sim to esim

ATT has the whole activate ESIM thing online through their account manager - will update on how it goes
 
Went from physical sim to esim last year with the 13 before I even realized. It was smooth and no issues (att for the carrier).
