I am using Activator to schedule tasks during the middle of the night, killbackground and reboot. I am trying to use Battery Doctor Pro also but all I can do is open the app. It is possible to have BDP open and perform special tasks within the app using Activator?

No. Not unless someone writes another tweak that has the options you want. Activator can do certain things because it integrates within the OS. But apps are a different mattor.
You might take a look at App Activate. It may be able to give you what you want. App Activate allows you to double tab an App and thereby perform certain functions. But I'm not certain if it will do what you wish. In any case, that still would require you double-tapping the app, instead of scheduling it.
