I just installed iOS9, and my workouts are now missing from the activity app. My rings are filled as usual and activity calories/exercise/stand looks normal, though I'm missing resting calories.

Is anyone else having this issue? I really hope we don't have to wait for Watch OS 2 for a fix.

I don't mind missing the resting calories, actually. I never looked at that. But I do want a record of my workouts. I can't imagine they'd remove that?? What is the point of tracking them on the watch if they aren't going to be stored/reported somewhere?

My workouts are below the Stand graph. Also, go to the full month view and look at the top right, there is a new pull down that will detail your workouts on the calendar.

Hmm...I see the new pull-down but when I select it, everything shows up blank! It clearly knows I worked out this morning, because I still have the correct amount of activity calories in my history.

Prior to the update, did you use iTunes and perform an encrypted backup? If so, your data will be there and worst case, restore using that backup and run the update again. Curious, in Health, do you have anything in your workout log there? Activity feeds into Health.

I didn't do an encrypted backup right before updating, no. But I have done encrypted backups in the past, as recently as a week or two ago. So at the very least I would think older workouts should show up? But they don't. The entire workout log shows up blank.

I have the exact same problem as you.. everything "workout"-related is blank. Did OTA update but did an Itunes backup before that. I still shows the correct amount of workout minutes though.. and the last workout I did is still saved in the AW activity app...

Same exact issue. Came here hoping for a solution. Gonna run tomorrow morning. Will see if it shows up.

Having the same issue, all of the workout history is gone. It's still in the Health app however so it's not gone forever. I worked out this morning (with iOS9 installed) and that workout is still in there.

I have the same problem. Did the update via iTunes and my Backups are encrypted. Also my workouts are displayed in the Health app and my Activity rings are also showing the correct Exercise time and burned calories. But still no workouts are displayed in the Activity app.

Good catch on the health app. Hopefully this is rectified.

Just seen this thread. I've got this problem too. I've filed a bug report with Apple.

I'll let you know if and when they respond!

For me neither... Workouts are still displayed correctly in the Health app but nothing in Activity app (calories count/exercise time is correct). New workouts which I did on iOS 9 will be displayed in the Activity app.

same problem for me too

i did a upgrade install on my iPhone.

I'm getting the iPhone 6s on friday and will do a encrypt backup and see if the workouts return in the activity app. otherwise I hope for a fix on this issue with iOS 9.0.1 or 9.1 whichever comes first.

Apple have responded and they've asked for more info to investigate (past iOS version history etc.). I'll let you know about any further updates.

Well, after asking for more information, they've now closed it as a duplicate.

So I guess we'll have to just wait and see if they re-appear in the future.
