So i noticed a few things arent responding when i check the activity monitor.

Can anyone tell me what that means and how to stop it from freezing every time?
Is it of any importance?

I've just seen those exact three on my system. Forced quit them, was about to search and read on them a bit.

My best guess, the first one (kext) relates to location services. The second may be spotlight internet search access. The last, well, Spotify service.

One is related to the "smart" results that you would expect in spotlight.
Only a restart fixes that very temporarily in my case.

This is WiFi geofencing info. Do you have a Mac with WiFi built in and turned on?

Everyone seems to have the SpotlightNetHelper bug. We will have to wait on a fix from Apple. Killing it is only a temporary fix.

Also Google needs to tidy up Chrome. I have had as many as 7 unresponsive at a time. Just close Chrome and they will disappear.

In case the OP meant that he needed to translate "reagiert nicht", it means "not responding."

thanks guys, i was just wondering cuz my macbook seems to get a lot hotter on Yosemite and thought it might have something to do with those non-responsive tasks
