Hoping that somebody can help me sort this out. Recently I noticed that in the Network tab of the MacOS Activity Monitor app, the "Data received" field at the bottom only updates infrequently and shows a ridiculously low amount of data (like 290KB, after days of normal usage). "Data sent:" appears to be working correctly. I'm not sure how long exactly this has been happening, but I think it's fairly recent. I feel like it was around the time that I installed "Little Snitch" app, but removing that app has not resolved the problem. I'm up to date on 14.6.1. Any ideas on how I can figure out why this data isn't updating?

FWIW, I think I've figured out what the issue was. After also having some inexplicable network issues (dns lookups failing randomly [unknown host], despite being able to ping by IP and also perform nslookups via terminal without issue), I just started removing any network related apps. Ultimately, it looks like the issue was the Fortinet VPN client (FortiClient), which had been installed for testing a little while back. Fingers crossed going forward.
