Activity Monitor showing Time on AC...while on battery

was curious to find out the time i've been on battery power since unplugged from power outlet. Took a look at the Activity Monitor only to find that my MBA seems to assume that I was still on AC power. Weird.

Does this explain the poor battery life I've been experiencing?

Maybe that indicates how much time you were plugged in the last time you attached the computer to charge.
