I like the way the ribcage is popped out, it seems it would help protect the Touch more. At least thats what the consumer in me says.Yeah, kinda depends on what the consumer likes...

Question about the Rebel Touch. I put my ipod in a dock almost every night (I use it as an alarm), does the case seem like it could handle the stress of being removed/ put on daily? Cuz I had a case that broke after too many times of doing this...
You would not need to remove it every time you need to dock it. If its too thick it has a dock adapter.

It's just wide enough for the iPod Touch. I tried it with a simple silicon case, doesn't fit.

I suggest you get a different case or get a different dock!
