Here's my app. The strobe is the extra goody that makes it more fun than the other LED flashlight apps. Enjoy.

Should be in App Store within a week.

used 3MEJFLT4XX4F

thanks.

the RWXJ44WRFJRA was used as well when i tried it.

All the codes have been used up so I just purchased the app. Here are my thoughts:

Pros:
-Yes, it's uses the LED as a light. Very cool and useful. Strobe effect is pretty cool too.

Cons:
-The brightness isn't the full brightness of the LED. Rather, it's the same brightness as when recording video. I was expecting it to be the brightness of the camera's flash.
-It doesn't remember your "Strobe Delay" setting.
-You have to tap the "Turn On" button to turn the light on. There should be an auto-start option.
-Turns off the iPod's music upon launch

-The full brightness issue is a limitation of the API -- The camera flash cannot be kept on for longer than it takes to take a picture, but the video torch can.
- I can easily put in code to remember the Strobe Delay.. Will do that now :)
- I'll put in an auto start option for convenience
- I'm looking into the ipod music issue, as it seems like a limitation the API. I'm not sure how other clever developers got around this.

Thanks for the prompt reply! Looking forward to the improvements.

(You might also consider removing the camera shutter startup animation)

For version 1.1 -

-I tossed the camera startup animation. This lets you access the app faster

-The flashlight will be on automatically when the app starts, since I don't know why a user would want to start a flashlight app with the flashlight off.

-Strobe interval is remembered, and the strobe can now flash "faster"

Submitting tonight.
