Hi,

just found out, that Apple killed the share as PDF function.

Now it's really hard, to send a pages document as PDF via mail.

I have to:
- export document as PDF
- go to finder and then share the document via mail.app

Old Pages:
- share as PDF via Mail (done)

Is that the new way, or did I miss something?

Ok, I found the solution:

With your document open, press command+p to print, click the drop-down arrow next to PDF at bottom left, then click Send in Mail

@usagora’s solution works fine for PDF. Doesn’t seem to be a simple way to send a copy as a Word document via email any more, though. However, the User Guide still shows File > Send a Copy as having this function so I'm not sure if it's intentional or not? I don't have a "Send a Copy" option in the File menu, just "Share" - and it has the same function you're seeing from the Share button.

Thanks a lot for this. Really weird that Apple disabled this functionality with macOS Ventura and will only let you share as an apple pages / numbers document structure without the option to share as PDF / Word document etc. However, since I used share as PDF all the time, this print->pdf->send as mail workaround is brilliant. Thanks!
