MacRumors has become a nightmare to read. It should be renamed to 's MacAddHell.

Come on guys, I understand you want some extra money on advertising, but don't become greedy like Apple does. One or two adds is okay for an occasional visitor, but this overload is a real hell. MacRumors is quickly becoming the number one place one never wants to visit again.

Bye bye...

I have never seen an ad here, thanks to adnomo and adbedie softwares.
can't blame MRF for making a penny or two
since teh internets stopped being free in 1998 as net zero went ground zero!

this is the only internets place were we can type nice things about Macs and what we made for din-dins
while checking a photo of a member's pet dancing in a vibrant cornfield.
not bad in my book!

I actually find some of the ad placements funny. For example, I'm often treated to ads for Samsung tablets directly above or beneath a story on iPads. I enjoy the site too much to let ads sway my usage. They have to pay for the site somehow.

I dont use any ad blockers, and I dont see many ads - either that or I just dont really notice them TBH.
A non-issue for me......

This site is actually the news site with the least amount of ads. It’s the only site that would actually load on my 5 year old iPad.

This is one of the few sites were the ads aren't bad for me. The verge for example is pretty awful and now they paywall articles.

(Note I don't use ad blockers)

Register on MacRumors! This sidebar will go away, and you'll see fewer ads.
