I'm playing WoW on my iMac using Teamspeak. So I needed to have a headset incl. microphone. After reading some forum entries I bought a USB sound card. But this was working no so perfect, I permanently got strange echoes on Teamspeak.
And then my wife bought an iPhone and plugged her headset into the iMac and it worked. Without USB sound or microphone amplifier. So it seems that the iMac does support normal microphones, but not on the line in port but on the headphone port.
So my question is: Does any one of you know about an adapter from a iPhone headset jack to two female ones for a "normal" gaming headset?
