So. I spilled green tea over my Macbook Pro Retina (2015) and it fizzled and died in my arms. I had to purchase a new Macbook as I needed it for work.

Old Mac won't turn on at all. My uncle works with computers (windows not Macs) and had a look at my Mac to hopefully recover the HD. Initially he couldn't find it, then realised it was SSD type.

Is there anything I can buy to read the pcie of my old Mac and recover some of my data? I saw the OWC enclosure but was hoping for something cheaper. Just want to transfer the data off it and onto another portable HD. I did see cheaper adapters but they were for older macbooks.

Any help appreciated please!
