It's very strange. Both my iPhone 15 Pro Max iOS 18.1 and my old iMac on Sequoia no longer block nearly as many ads. Advertisements on ESPN, Slickdeals.net, Dailytech etc....all now show ads on both versions of Safari. Is anyone else experiencing this. I think I noticed this a few weeks ago. I was using Unicorn blocker, thought it was that, changed to a different blocker and had the same result. Anyone else going through this? If so, found a solution?

Try relaunching the ad blocker app first, if nothing happens turn content blocker or extension setting off and on again. If nothing happens, try reinstalling. Final step if all fails is to change to reputable ad blockers like AdGuard or Ghostery.

Wipr is working for me. It seems Apple made some changes under the hood to Safari extensions in iOS 18 so maybe that is affecting your adbocker?

When I hit the puzzle piece, I clicked the “Turn on Content Blockers” and that fixed it. For some reason it wasn’t on. Also, Unicorn Blocker stopped working. Now using AdGuard, thanks.
