I was wondering if you can apply and use an ADC discount at a Brick & Mortar Apple Stores. I thought I might be able to open up the lappy right there in the store to make sure it doesn't have a yellow screen and the like.

No, all purchases must be made through the online ADC store.

Most people at the B&M don't even know what ADC stands for, much less give you a discount based on one.

Yeah they do. I've asked before (granted she was one of the manager types), and the answer is while you can get an education discount at a brick and mortar Apple store (hardware only), you can't get an ADC discount. I wonder how they'd verify your discount and all..

Thanks for you replies. Before that I saw they were posted, I called my local apple store. The first employee I talked to had no idea, but quickly asked a manager who stated what you guys confirmed.

Thanks again.
