I am thinking of buying an Apple Developper Connection membership (for students) and I noticed that you supposedly get a discount on hardware. Could anyone tell me what the discount is for iMacs?

Plus you got a copy of Tiger with the membership and a t-shirt (!) so it was all good. Now I just need the Intel PMs to come out.

so if 10.5 is released, you get a fresh copy for free.
It was about 2-3 weeks after the official release date, as I recall. Definitely not before.NATO said:I always meant to find out when copies are sent out to ADC members. Did those who were members when 10.4 Tiger was released get their copies before release, or was it a significant time after the official release date?

Dear ADC Mailing Recipient,
By now you have probably received your May monthly mailing which
includes the Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger Upgrade DVD. Please know that we
are also sending the Mac OS X Tiger User Install DVD in your June
monthly mailing, which is scheduled to ship the week of May 23.
In the meantime, for your convenience we have given you access to
download Tiger Build 8A428 from the ADC Member Site. This is the
same build as the Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger User Install DVD that will be
in your June mailing and is the same build as the Mac OS X Tiger
commercial product that is shipping to customers.

Yep, just the standard $99USD/year deal. Add in the hardware discount, and the membership totally pays for itself and then some.NATO said:This is for Student ADC Membership btw?
