add 24GB RAM to IMac? Possible?

I have a late 2013 Imac with 2 modules of 4 GB RAM each.

In order to max out its RAM capacity of 32GB, I should add 24GB of RAM.
This means 12GB each slot, as only 2 slots are free (4 in total).

Are there any modules of 12GB memory even available?
It seems the multiplier is 4, 8 or 16GB.

My other question is: can you recommend a good US online store and brand to buy these?

As far as I'm concerned there are no 12 GB RAM modules for your iMac. So I'm afraid you have to replace your existing memory modules with two sticks of 16 GB RAM. My recommendation is to have a look at either OWC or Crucial when buying memory. Those brands are both great qualitywise, but there could be a slight difference in price. Hope this helps!

12GB modules are not available. To get 32GB you will need to remove the original 2x4GB modules and install 4x8GB modules.

The top two brands are generally considered to be OWC (macsales.com) and Crucial. Make sure you get ram advertised specifically for your model since macs can be picky.

Take the 4GB sticks out, put in 8 GB sticks in all slots.
Or put 8 GB in the two remaining slots, and live with 24 GB
