So I've updated all my devices to iOS 9 and I purchased crystal, downloaded it to my devices and enabled it in settings. However I'm confused because I'm still seeing adverts when I browse web sites on safari. I thought it was supposed to removed adverts.

When you open crystal look at the bottom. If it says '0' you'll need to let or update to show '6'

Leave the app open too.

I didn't know the app had to be opened. Sure enough the ads are now blocked! Thanks for the tip.

If you open the Crystal App and look ok at the bottom and hit 'about' and then FAQs.

It's more about updating the block list.

Look to allowing background app refresh for it or open the app to update the list every so often.

You shouldn't need to leave it open all the time.
