I have my movies on a NAS and my other media on my Mac (I have a Mac Mini as my HTPC with a Synology holding my movies, and a Mac Pro as my main system). How do I add my movie collection into my iTunes library without moving or copying the files? I made an alias to my NAS movie folder to my iTunes media folder, didn't seem to do the trick.

you can hold the option key while dragging the files to iTunes. It will add without copying. The only downside to this is that you would need to do this every time you want to add movies.
