I have started to upload some PDF mag's (Amiga related) to iCloud drive so i an read on iPhone

However, they only show up in "Files" app..

Even though ibooks, had .pdf category,i thought they would appear there too, but they do not..

The "Edit" button is greyed out.. I'm logged into both ITunes and iCloud on my iPhone 6s Plus, just to be sure

I think that you need to import the PDF files into the Books app to see them in your library. I am new iOS user though so I might be wrong.

Open the Files app on your iPhone

Open the PDF in Files

Tap on the share icon

Choose "Open in Books" - if it's not visible, tap on "More" to find it

Once the PDF is open in Books tap on the share icon

Choose "Copy to Books"

You now have the PDF in Files and a separate copy of it in Books. The Books copy will also become available in Books on your other Apple devices if they have iCloud syncing enabled.
