I doubt that I'm the only one out there, but I wish Apple would let us remove certain applications from the phone and keep them available in their own section of the App Store.

I wish I could remove Notes, Stocks, YouTube, iTunes, Weather, and Photos. I never use these especially since 2.0 and they just sit on a 4th page that I wish I didn't have.

Anyone else feel this way?

No because then people will just be b1tchin that they can't restore the apps to the iPhone. Maybe if we could just hide the apps it would be OK.

I just uncheck the ones I don't want to install on my iPhone but still want to keep. What is wrong with this method? Is there some reason you don't want them on your computer?

Those apps are sacred. You should be ashamed of even thinking of removing them.

@skubish: these apps would be stored with the rest of your applications, and in case of a problem, can be downloaded from iTunes individually. and i agree with your solution, i would be content with just hiding them.

@Julien: i'm talking about the standard apps, not 3rd party. now that developers are releasing apps that do the same thing as the standard apps, but better, there's no point of wanting to keep them on the phone. i.e. Notes, Stocks, Weather.

the OP mentions the original apps that app preinstalls on the device. like notes, mail, stocks, ipod, videos, etc. the ones that apple developed and put on the device before hand.
