Anyone know if this is possible? Instead of going to System Preferences->Startup Disk->Windows or holding down the command key at startup to get the boot menu, can I just add an apple menu item that let's me reboot into windows. You know, one click and that's it. And I don't mean the ability to hibernate OS X (though I'm really bummed that didn't end up as an option with Leopard), but to shut down and reboot the mac into windows.

Been searching around but not finding anyone else that seems to be looking for this, surely I can't be the only one.

Running XP via bootcamp on a late '06 blackbook.

Thanks!

Try doing a watch-me-do with Automator and saving as an application - then you'd just have to click the icon in the dock.

Im gonna try this when I get home. In windows you can just click the bootcamp icon and restart in OSx. I wish you can do that the other side. Even though holding the control key to bring up the boot window is cool, its too annoying to do it often

This would be a great feature. I'd use it daily. Were you able to do it?

If an Automator macro worked, or a Script was written, would it be then possible to add the option on the apple menu?
