I am preparing an application for use by another entity. Where in the submission process does one add the Seller and Copyright information so that it displays in the app store like the iStanford application pictured in the post.

The copyright comes from, surprisingly, the Copyright field of the application's Overview tab in the Manage Applications section of iTunes Connect.

As for the seller information, that is pulled from the company name or individual's name that is associated with the registered iPhone Developer account and cannot be changed on a per app basis. In other words, if you want this to be different from your normal account's name, you'll need to register a separate iPhone Developer account.

Thank you for the quick response, I realized now the sell is the account now, it was just a mystery to me where the copyright information was. Thank you.

Hi, I'm wondering what exactly is the difference. My situation is like this. I submitted my first app and doing so I listed my real name as a company name and now I see it is inevitable that my name will appear as seller (also at the Legal Entity Name under Contract). After realizing this, I quickly rejected the binary so that the review process can stop.

Now, I'm going to register a LLC and going to use company as a copy right holder. But gathering from the rumors it seems that I can no longer hope to change the seller's name. Does this mean that my personal assets are liable when a lawsuit is fired due to the app? Or is it just the copy right holder who is going to be burdened by the legal lawsuit?

Also, hearing from what was discussed in this forum, if you're a contractor who develops apps for many different company, he or she must create new developer's account for the work given by different company??
