I can't believe this hasn't been resolved, it's the most frustrating part of iCloud Music Library for me.
Yesterday I added about 5 albums to iTunes on my iMac using "Add to library". After adding them I clicked on each of the albums and selected "Add to iCloud Music Library".
On my way to an appointment this morning I opened iTunes on my phone, and only 2 of the 5 albums showed up in my library.
I come home and open iTunes on my iMac. Sure enough, 3 of the 5 albums were not added to iCloud Music Library. Once again, I choose "Add to iCloud Music Library" from the menu. I see the icon next to each song change to a cloud without a line through it, indicating that it is being added. However, almost immediately after that the songs go right back to having a cloud with a line through it—which shows that they weren't uploaded.
This has been going on for years and it's still not fixed. No idea why it has to be so difficult. It should just work.
Any ideas?
