Add Twitter to Notification Center

A few questions...

first, i am trying to add twitter to notification center so i can get my @ replies there, but im not seeing twitter listed underneath the notification center in settings. i have twitter for iphone...how do i add it with the other apps w/ notification center?

also, for iMessage, how do you add people? you can use their apple id e-mail right? but how do you add them to your phone or whatever? is that possible, or do you just type in their apple ID when you go to send a message?

It should be in the next section down "Not in notification center." Click on it there and then switch "Notification Center" to On. Now it should be in the notification center section.

For iMessage, you just add their phone number like normal. If your phone detects they have iOS 5, then when you try to text them in messages, the bubble turns blue and you have additional iMessage options.

You can add numbers or emails but you have to know which account each user is using. I'd expected an imessage field in the address book. Anyway once you sent an iMessage to someone successfully the device remembers that and shows a bubble near the number or address.

You have to install the twitter app (from settings or AppStore).

If you have Twitter installed and it's the latest version (did you update it?), it should show up in Settings -> Notifications -> either under "in notification center" or below that in "not in notification center," depending on which one you've set.

I don't think so. iPod Touch and iPad can now useIMessage and their owners do not necessarily have phone numbers.

Did you reinstall the twitter app, when you launched it did you say yes allow push notifications? If you did it should list under the notification settings.

yea...twitter isnt showing up there...its updated and all..

I don't think so. iPod Touch and iPad can now useIMessage and their owners do not necessarily have phone numbers.

I believe you can message someone just based off their e-mail, as long as that e-mail has been associated with iMessage.

Can we specify specific twitter accts to notify us in the not center? I'd like my real life friends tweets pushed there but not celebs and news accounts.

also you installed the official twitter app from the twitter settings?

Have you enabled notifications within the Twitter app? Go to the Accounts list in the Twitter app, tap Settings, and you should see options for notifications.

yea, i have it enabled. yea i initially installed from the iphone settings..then it wasnt showing up, deleted it, tried from just the app store, still not working. just deleted again and tried from the settings again, still not showing up

how do i take a screen of my notification center settings? also how would i post it?

EDIT: nm, i rebooted my iphone, went to open twitter asked me if i would like it to send me notifications, clicked ok, and now its under notification center in settings. must have accidentally hit no earlier.
