Hey guys,

I made sure to search a lot before hand.

Is there any way to add a contact during a call?

Thanks

Try this tip:

During a phone call at the default on-a-call screen, tap the plus sign "add call." You will now see your "Contacts" list, tap the "keypad" tab at the bottom right of the screen, dial the number, then press "add contact."

Are you wanting to add the person that is calling you? Or are you wanting to add another person while on the iPhone with someone else?

Trying to add any number while on a call. For example, if I'm calling someone to get a phone number I have no way of actually saving it to the phone.

But the tip above works great! Thanks karenflower

alternatively, just tap the home button, do your shizz then hit the bar at the top of the phone to return to call.

No this doesn't work. If you hit the home button and then try to go to contacts, once you hit the Phone icon it simply takes you to the call screen and you can't get into contacts to add a number.

Well since the home button thing doesn't work and you don't want to do the add call thing, then you could just go to the home screen and type the number (and any other info) down in a note. If it was all the contact info, like name, address, business, email and you don't have a good memory, it would take a little bit of back and forth work.
But yeah add call then store to contacts that way would be much easier.
