Hello everyone, I use my OG stereo pair as Airplay speakers for music and am looking for one HomePod Mini to use Siri for alarm, timers, podcast and some other usual things.

Now, if you have an OG Homepod Stereo pair and one Homepod Mini can all these 3 play music in sync at the same time by selecting all three speakers on the iPhone's control center?

I know, they cannot be mixed and matched, but I saw some YouTuber doing it and I cannot understand the fact will it enhance audio listening experience or will the Mini be lost between the OG stereo pair?

Has anyone played music on OG stereo pair and Mini at the same time in near vicinity and has some thoughts to share.

Simply put, will there be any audio/listening gain by adding Mini to the mix as my OG HomePods are at the front and I'll be having a single Mini at the rear of me.

Thank you!

I have an OG stereo pair, and a mini stereo pair and I have used them at the same time. I place the OGs at the front and the minis on the back of my couch and they help to make the stereo more pronounced. You have to be careful with volume levels because the OGs can drown the minis pretty easily.

I did not enjoy having the mini playing along with my stereo OG. Thus, returned it.
if you have a return policy, go for it
