Hi -
I hope this makes sense. My wife and I currently have 2 iPhone 3G's on a family plan that we started in July 2008 when the iPhone 3G first was launched - which makes us 15 months into our 24 month contract.
We are adding on a new line for my father-in-law and was wondering if I could pull a bit of a switcharoo of sorts. Would I be able to purchase the subsidized iPhone 3GS for the new line - downgrade my iPhone's plan to a regular plan swap the sim out of my current iPhone 3G with the new 3GS and just give my father-in-law an old AT&T phone? Note my father in law is 80 and he is just going to have a cell phone for an emergency since he likes to wander around
.
Thanks,
Matstars
